HOW IS MODERN CAVE INC. DIFFERENT FROM ITS COMPETITORS?
Modern Cave has been around for more than 10 years and Shane has been in the industry for over 20 years. If we don't have the solutions within our company we have the contacts who work closely with us to complete projects!
FINANCING OPTIONS?
At this time Modern Cave only accepts cash, cheque and e-transfer. Credit Card may be accepted with notice and applicable processing fees.
HOW DOES MODERN CAVE DO ESTIMATES?
Depending on the project or what you are looking at completing we will arrange a meeting at the project site to go over your dreams. We will take as many notes as possible and put together an estimate with all required details as soon as possible. Our Estimates are good for 30 days.
DOES MODERN CAVE OFFER WARRANTY?
Standard 1 year warranty on material and labour
Up to 10 year warranty available upon request. Application through Modern Cave for New Home Warranty Alberta.
HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST?
Each project will be different depending on estimated hours requested, materials and required trades.
If the projects we are arranging is hourly our prices are the following:
Project Manager $150hr | General Foreman $95hr | Lead Hand $90hr | Finishing Carpenter $85hr | Framer $80hr | Framer Helper $75hr | Labourer $55hr
Weekend & Evening Premium $5hr
Call Out - Minimum 4hrs
5% GST
DO YOU WORK WEEKENDS?
More often than not our employees work Monday to Friday. At the request of the owner or project manager we can arrange employees to work weekends at a weekend premium.
DO I NEED A PERMIT?
Permits are required for most structural changes or developments. Some examples are deck, basement developments, or additions. It is best to check with the City or Town you live in. If you require a permit we will work with you to provide the documents you need for the application.
